Groz-Beckert will participate in Techtextil India 2019, and will showcase solutions for technical textiles and nonwovens for the Indian and regional markets. Felting and Carding segment products and innovations will take place at the company booth.

Groz-Beckert Techtextil India 2019 nonwovens solutions. Taking place from 20 to 22 November Techtextil India welcomes an international audience to the biennial trade fair in Mumbai, India. In 2019 Groz-Beckert will be represented with its product sectors Felting and Carding in Hall 5 at Booth B-55.

In the Felting product sector Groz-Beckert will be presenting its new base material combined with a patented manufacturing process, called dur. The higher wear resistance and the improved corrosion resistance already work out for Groz-Beckert customers all around the globe. The company plans to extend the dur version to the complete product range, soon. At Techtextil India visitors learn about their benefits – now and in the future. Within the traditional nonwovens industry, Groz-Beckert’s GEBECON® felting needle provides advantages regarding the surface quality of the final product and optimized needling parameters.

At the show visitors will be presented details of the patented shape of working part of this needle with a man-sized needle exhibit. And the company also has such an exhibit ready for Spunlace customers: Coming along with absolutely homogenous jet creation with large impelling force and excellent entanglement Groz-Beckerts HyTec® P jet strip ensures the very best productivity, quality, and efficiency. Compared to conventional jet strips, the new material possesses a much greater hardness which causes longer usage time in production. Compared to conventional jet strips, the significantly higher limit of elasticity of the HyTec® P jet strip provides more than 3 times more protection against plastic deformation.

With the Carding product sector Groz-Beckert completes its portfolio for the nonwovens industry. At Techtextil India visitors can directly compare different tooth geometries; The worker and doffer wires SiroLock® and EvoStep®, for example, ensure improved fiber control and web quality. SiroLock® also impresses with performance enhancements in carding, while the EvoStep® card clothing emphasizes on saving raw material. SiroLock® is a metallic wire for worker and doffer rollers; and is distinguished by a pronounced step below the tip of the tooth.

In addition to Groz-Beckerts presentation at the Techtextil in Frankfurt earlier this year; Mumbai’s visitors have the possibility to learn about the new doffer and worker wire SiroLock® plus. A part of the Groz-Beckert InLine card clothing series; this product combines a reduced rib height (1.3mm) of the interlock card clothing; with an improved strength of delicate card clothing teeth and a further optimized tooth geometry. Compared with the metallic SiroLock® card clothing; SiroLock® plus offers a more effective fiber take-up, control and hand-over with even the highest throughputs. These new properties are not only effective in achieving reduced fiber fly; they also ensure a more uniform and homogeneous web.
