Cleaning may be the most important step in the skin care routine. It can remove makeup, sunscreen, pollen, dirt, pollution and any impurities that may accumulate on the surface of our skin throughout the day.

Cleansing oil is one of the cleansing rituals that have been used in Japan for centuries. Beauty products from Japan are usually associated with efficacy, high quality and benefit-oriented characteristics, and cleansing oils are no exception.

Cleansing oil is an oily cleanser containing emulsifiers (surfactants). The choice of oil is important because it affects cleansing performance and skin texture. It also embodies the characteristics of the product concept, for example, it can have a gentle and natural appearance.

The main function of surfactants is phase inversion, so the choice of surfactants affects the rinsing ability. It enhances the stability against turbidity, has good oil compatibility and solubility.

An important part of Japanese beauty is "double cleansing", which can be done with only one product. The first step of a double cleansing is to nourish the skin while using oil to remove makeup, dirt and impurities. The second step involves rinsing with water; forming an oil-in-water emulsion that helps dissolve the oily detergent and rinse it away without leaving any oil behind.

RHEODOL 430V (Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate) is one of our unique J-Beauty ingredients in the skin market. It is a non-ionic emulsifier (HLB 10.5) with high compatibility with various types of oils, especially with polar oils such as vegetable oils and silicone-containing formulations. This safe, non-irritating ingredient can obtain a fine and uniform emulsion or even a transparent solution. Recommended dosage of oil-based cleaner: 10-20%.

Mix all ingredients at room temperature. Homogenize for a few minutes.

Apply an appropriate amount of cleansing oil on dry skin by hand. After gently spreading on the face and around the eyes, moisten the fingertips and massage. When the oil becomes a light milky emulsion, it can be easily removed with water.
