Hiden Analytical's Hiden pQA portable gas analyzer is a multifunctional mass spectrometer that provides a series of interchangeable inlets to suit a wide range of applications. The MIMS inlet is used to analyze dissolved substances in groundwater, fermentation cultures, soil samples, and general applications that need to analyze dissolved substances in liquid samples. The system is suitable for gas analysis applications with small sample volumes and environmental applications that require detection of low concentration levels. The quality range of the pQA system is 200 amu and sub-ppb detection level. Extending the mass range to 300 amu is optional.
The system uses a Pelican® housing and can be powered by a 12 V power supply, battery and/or solar power used on site, or a 220 V power supply used in the laboratory.
The new pQA system is designed to be compact, light and portable, and expands the application of high-sensitivity, high-dynamic-range multi-gas mass spectrometry, and can be used in the field, on the river bank, at sea or in the laboratory.
